E-BENEFITS AND E-DISCOUNTS

  1. e-Benefits” refers to the unique e-Voucher that will be displayed after Members log into their Changi Rewards Travel account, which shows their unique Membership Privileges voucher code, their redeemable Membership Privileges details, and Terms & Conditions that apply to the usage of their e-Benefits.
  2. Members are able to redeem e-Benefits according to their Membership Tier status during each Membership Year. Each e-Benefit will have its own respective expiry date.
  3. e-Discounts” refers to discounted products and services for Members reflected in the form of an e-Voucher. e-Discounts are only applicable during the membership year.
  4. Unless otherwise stated, all e-Benefits and e-Discounts are only valid for Members.
  5. Selected one-time offers are only available for new sign-ups as well as exclusive packages available only for Members of Changi Rewards Travel.
  6. Redemption methods for e-Benefits and e-Discounts may vary and are subject to change without notice.
  7. e-Benefits and e-Discounts have no cash value, and are non-transferrable, non-exchangeable and non-refundable for cash.
  8. Members can redeem only one (1) e-Benefit per transaction.
  9. Redemption of e-Benefits is final. There will be no refund or voiding of e-Benefits once a transaction is completed.
  10. CAG reserves the right to amend or withdraw any privileges related to any particular Membership Tier at any time at its sole discretion, without prior notice.

e-Benefits

1.1 TRAVEL SAFE INFO

  • Travel Safe Info gives Members access to an online Portal and a 24-hour hotline provided by International SOS (ISOS). The access right is strictly for the Member and is non-transferrable.
  • Members can access the portal under Member Log In at https://www.internationalsos.com with the member code provided to them.
  • The hotline number is +65 6837 1488.
  • ISOS will provide coordination and facilitate medical and/or travel security evacuation to Members. The support will be treated as a private case in which Members have to agree to prior to the execution of the requested assistance, in which Members will be fully responsible for all the fees incurred.

1.2 DELAYED FLIGHT LOUNGE ACCESS

  • Delayed Flight Lounge Access is only available for Members with flights to or departing from Changi Airport.
  • Members will be required to register with their flight details at https://www.changirewardstravel.com/en/Member/Action/Flight-Delay-Assistance.aspx at least 24 hours before their scheduled departure time. CAG reserves the right to withdraw the benefit if details are not accurately registered.
  • Members will not be able to edit their registered flight details. In the event of a flight cancellation or change, Members will have to cancel their registered flight and re-register with the new flight details.
  • Please note that cancellation of registered flight details is not possible less than 2 hours prior to the flight’s scheduled time of departure.
  • Members will be required to declare whether they are transiting via Changi Airport when registering with their flight details, where the connecting duration between the arriving and departing flight is less than 24 hours. This is calculated from the scheduled time of arrival of the arriving flight to Changi Airport to the scheduled time of departure of the connecting departure flight out of Changi Airport. For transfer flights, Members can choose to either register one or both sectors of the transfer flights.
  • Members' flight details will be monitored by the flight tracking system. Lounge access will be provided to Members ('Eligible Members') with flights that were successfully submitted and when the flight tracking system identifies the flight as being delayed by more than 2 hours ('Delay Threshold').
  • The Delay Threshold can be announced either as one single period of delay or as a consequence of multiple incremental shorter delays, which will be determined by the flight tracking system.
  • Participating lounges are available for most but not all international airports. By registering their flight for this benefit, Members accept that some airports may not include the participating lounges. If an airport does not include a participating lounge, registration will fail. Participating lounges can be found at https://loungefinder.loungekey.com/. Passes to enter participating lounges are administered by LoungeKey™. Please refer to their terms and conditions here.
  • Delayed Flight Lounge Access is available for most major commercial airline flights, but there are limitations against airlines or airports that do not report data regularly. Chartered airlines are not supported. Registration will fail if flight data is not available for the airline or flight.
  • Eligible Members will be notified by email and SMS based on the contact details in their Changi Rewards Travel account, which is subject to successful prior registration and lounge availability. Eligible Members will be required to display the lounge access confirmation email in order to access the lounge. The lounge access will be provided to the Eligible Member on the same day of the flight travel and cannot be used on any other day of travel. The name stated in the email confirmation will have to match the Eligible Member's name.
  • Lounge access will only be provided to Eligible Members and excludes accompanying guests.
  • In the event when an Eligible Member does not receive the confirmation email, Member may contact the CAG customer service. Compensation is limited to the issuance of a participating lounge replacement voucher, valid for up to 6 months, to be used at the next trip. The replacement vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. CAG will not be liable to reimburse members who decide to access any lounge at their own cost or to incur any out of pocket costs.
  • Delayed Flight Lounge Access is non-transferrable and non-refundable.
  • By accessing the airport lounge, Members agree to abide by the rules and policies of the airport lounge.
  • Dining options and business or conference facilities available to lounge guests may be subject to additional charges to Members, depending on the airport lounge. Members will remain solely liable for such charges and CAG will not be held liable for incurred charges.
  • Any dispute due to services provided by any participating airport lounge, losses or liability arising out of, or in connection with using such lounge shall be resolved between Members and the airport lounge. CAG will not participate in any dispute between Members and participating airport lounges.

1.3 MISCONNECTION COMPENSATION

  • Applies to self-connecting flights when travelling through Changi Airport.
  • Members will receive up to S$500 for misconnection when travelling through Changi Airport.
  • Members will receive up to S$150 (capped at S$1,000) for baggage that is lost, misplaced, or delayed for 6 hours or more.
  • Members must download and complete the claim form from https://www2.chubb.com/sg-en/_assets/documents/travel-claim-form.pdf and email it to AWService.CAG@awac.com.

1.4 AIRPORT SHUTTLE SERVICE

  • Applicable for walk-ins, subject to availability, at Changi Airport Ground Transport Concierge counters at Terminal 1 to 4.
  • Only valid for pick-up or drop-off at Changi Airport.
  • Members must log into their account to access their unique promo code, which will be used to enjoy this e-Benefit.
  • For any issues during the booking process, Members can contact Woodlands Transport directly at +65 6241 3818 (24 hours).

1.5 LUGGAGE STORAGE SERVICE

  • Each voucher is valued at S$5 and cannot be used in conjunction with other discounts or vouchers.
  • Members can only redeem one voucher in a single transaction.
  • Members can only redeem this e-Benefit at Baggage Storage Changi Airport outlets in Terminal 1, 2, 3 and 4.

1.6 BATAM – SINGAPORE FERRY

  • Each complimentary ticket excludes taxes at prevailing rates (currently at RP280,000 (if departing from Batam) / S$28 (if departing from Singapore), and which members will pay directly to Majestic Ferry.
  • Each complimentary ticket can be used for a round trip only, originating from either Batam or Singapore (Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal only).
  • Members can only redeem this e-Benefit at Majestic Ferry’s ticketing counters at Batam and Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal.
  • Fuel surcharge at prevailing rates are also payable by the Member.

1.7 AIRPORT LIMOUSINE SERVICE

  • Service is provided by Avis, inclusive of Meet & Greet Service.
  • Applicable for Mercedes Benz E Class and Toyota Alphard car types.
  • Subjected to Goods and Services Tax (“GST”) at prevailing rates (currently 7%).
  • Includes hire of vehicle, chauffeur service, motor and commercial general public liability insurance, petrol and parking Electronic Road Pricing (“ERP”).
  • Changi Rewards Travel complimentary limousine transfer is only limited to a one-way transfer. Additional charges will be chargeable to the Member for additional stops and requests.
  • Only valid for pick-up or drop-off at Singapore Changi Airport.
  • Reservations and changes should be made at least one working day in advance.
  • Cancellations are to be made with given notice of at least 12 working hours. Otherwise, cancellation charges equivalent to a one-way transfer will be imposed.
  • Night surcharges at S$15 per hour for transfer service will be imposed from services requested from 11:00 pm to 6:59 am.
  • Additional stop charges at S$10 are applicable (only for transfers) per pickup for stop location(s) not more than 5km away from the original pick up/drop off point. Waiting at additional stop(s) is not permitted. An additional 1-way transfer fee per pickup will be applicable for stops that are not within the 5km limit.
  • Peak season or blackout period bookings will incur a 50% surcharge on the total cost of transfer or charter (Singapore Chinese New Year Public Holiday, Singapore Formula 1 Grand Prix and Singapore Air show).
  • With regards to meeting up with the chauffeur:
    • Avis will provide the driver's contact details to the Member during booking confirmation, allowing the Member to communicate with the driver directly to confirm the pick-up location.
    • Members can go to Avis' counter to request for chauffeur drive service.
  • The chauffeur will wait for a maximum of 60 minutes for airport arrivals / cruise terminal arrival from the time that the flight lands / cruise docks and a maximum of 30 minutes for departures or point A to point B transfers.
  • Waiting time beyond the grace period will be subject to a late fee of 50% of the transfer fee per 30 min block (part thereof) in addition to the minimum charge for a 1-way transfer fee. Any delay caused by events beyond the passenger's control will be looked into on a case-by-case basis.
  • Any transfer service with less than 1-hour time allowance apart from the next transfer service for the same guest will be considered an hourly charter of minimum charge of 3 hours.
  • For any issues during the booking process, Members can contact Avis via call at +65 6305 1994 during operation hours from Monday to Friday: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Closed on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays.
  • To pre-book limousine service, Members must quote their unique promotion code when they email chauffeur@avis.com.sg.
  • Upon booking of complimentary chauffeur drive service, Members must quote the one-time use voucher promotion code, which will be applied accordingly. If a valid promotional code is not quoted, retail prices will be charged to the Member.

1.8 LOUNGE ACCESS AT CHANGI

  • Lounge access may include usage of lounge facilities, shower facilities, WiFi and charging facilities, private workstations, light meals, free flow non-alcoholic beverages, comfortable seating, television, Flight Information Display System, international magazines and newspapers, subject to availability in the lounge.
  • Conditions of usage vary between different lounges and Members acknowledge and agree to abide by these rules. Lounge operators reserve the right to modify the conditions of usage at any time without giving prior notice.
  • Each lounge visit is valid for 3 hours and Members can only redeem this e-Benefit at one of the following lounges:
    • Ambassador Transit Lounge at Terminal 2 and Terminal 3
    • Blossom – SATS & Plaza Premium Lounge at Terminal 4
    • KOMYUNITI at YOTELAIR in Jewel Changi
    • Plaza Premium Lounge at Terminal 1
    • The Haven by JetQuay at Terminal 3
  • Members must log into their account and allow the service staff to enter a PIN number on their device in order to redeem the e-Benefit.

1.9 SWIMMING POOL ACCESS

  • Members can only redeem this by walking-in at Aerotel Transit Hotel in Changi Airport Terminal 1.
  • Services include shower facilities, basic toiletries and a bottle of mineral water.
  • Valid for a maximum of 3 hours pool use.
  • Members must log into their account and allow the service staff to enter a PIN number on Member’s device in order to redeem the e-Benefit.

      • Premium and Classic Members will enjoy a discount of 5% off Avis retail chauffeur drive rates.
      • Elite Members will enjoy a discount of 10% off Avis retail chauffeur drive rates.
      • Applicable for Mercedes Benz E Class, Mercedes Benz S Class, Toyota Vellfire / Alphard cars, Mercedes Viano and Buses (13-seater, 23 seater and 40 seater).
      • Includes hire of vehicle, chauffeur service, Meet & Greet Service (except buses category), motor and commercial general public liability insurance, petrol, parking ERP and prevailing GST.
      • Reservations and changes should be made at least 24 working hours in advance.
      • Cancellations are to be made with given notice of at least 12 working hours. Otherwise, cancellation charges equivalent to a one-way transfer will be imposed on the Member.
      • Night surcharges at S$15 to S$30 per hour (depends on the vehicle category) for transfer service will be imposed to the Member for services requested from 11:00 pm to 6:59 am.

        • Extra kilometer fee:

        • Late night surcharge: S$10 per hour surcharge will be applied for any usage between 11:00 pm and 6:00 am the next day.
        • Holiday Surcharge: 25% surcharge of basic rental fee applies during Chinese New Year holidays and Formula One (F1) period.
        • Overnight fee: A meal allowance of S$50 per day will be applied, with accommodation at a separate cost to be provided for the driver by the Member. Accommodation will be selected by the Member, and minimally a 2-star hotel or equivalent.
        • Add-stop fee: The airport transfer and point-to-point service provides one-way and non-stop transfer service only as standard; if Members require a stop in between, extra surcharge of S$10 per stop will be applied, and toll and parking fees will also be applied.
      • Modifications made in less than one (1) business day will be subject to 50% surcharge on the rental fee applicable after the modification.
      • Cancellation of booking in more than or equal to one (1) business day:

      • Complimentary breakfast and gym vouchers will be given to Member upon check-in.

    1. Special opening rate for hotel stays
      • Promotion is valid till 30 September 2019.

1.13 LOUNGE ACCESS

Classic Members are entitled to a one-time usage of the Lounge Access e-Discount at any one of the lounges below during their Membership year, subject to applicable terms and conditions.

1.20 MEET & GREET SERVICES

      • Reservations should be made at least 48 hours in advance and Members must provide actual date of arrival or departure and flight manifest to JetQuay.
      • Passengers who depart through JetQuay are required to come at arrive at least 90 minutes before flight departure time or at least 120 minutes before flight departure time for certain airlines (to contact JetQuay on which airlines).
      • JetQuay reserves the right not to accept bookings with less than 48 hours' notice and any walk-in passengers without prior booking.
      • Members will receive a confirmation email after booking is accepted.
      • Rates quoted are in Singapore dollars and are subjected to prevailing GST. 10% surcharge will be levied for flight arrival / departure between 10:00 pm to 07:00 am.
      • An additional of S$20 / event peak season surcharge will also apply to eve / on Singapore public holidays.
      • Rates are valid for Free Independent Travellers (up to 9 passengers) bookings only.

      • Each buggy can fit up to a maximum of 5 passengers depending on the number and size of hand carry bags.
      • Buggy rental is charged on an hourly basis with a minimum of 1 hour booking, unused hours will be not be refunded. Extension is also on a per hourly basis.

1.21 SHUTTLE BUS SERVICES

      • Passengers are advised to wait at the pick-up point at least 10 minutes before the scheduled departure time.

      • Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
      • The total journey time from Changi Airport Terminal 2 to Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal is approximately 20 minutes. The total journey time from Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal to Terminals 1, 2, 3 and 4 of Changi Airport is approximately 15 to 40 minutes. Timings are subject to change without notice due to traffic conditions.
